Tracing a polar rose
For r = a sin(kθ), consecutive zeros at 0 and π/k bound one petal. Radius squared gives area a²π/(4k). Negative radii place points on the opposite ray. Odd k gives k petals traced twice over a full turn; even k gives 2k petals traced once.
